Electrical Trainer – Trainee Position, £37k

About the role

We are looking for a time‑served Electrical Professional ready to transition into a rewarding training career. As a Trainee Electrical Trainer you will coach and mentor learners pursuing Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Maintenance qualifications, while receiving fully funded teaching qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Teach, coach and mentor learners on Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Maintenance qualifications.
• Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of electrical maintenance programmes.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices in line with awarding‑body standards.
• Work within a self‑motivated team environment that values a practical, hands‑on approach.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ occupational experience in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Industrial Maintenance within a production/manufacturing plant.
• Mandatory Level 3 Electrical‑related qualification.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS clearance.
