Electrical Training Instructor & Assessor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our training team as an Electrical Training Instructor & Assessor. You will deliver high‑quality practical and classroom training to adult learners in Kent, helping them achieve industry‑recognised qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver practical electrical training sessions and classroom lessons.
• Support learners throughout their qualification pathway, providing guidance and feedback.
• Assess learner progress, conduct examinations and issue constructive feedback.
• Share current industry best practices and ensure training aligns with the latest standards.
• Maintain a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in electrical installation.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent).
• Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting.
• Level 3 Award covering BS 7671 18th Edition requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional attitude.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and passion for learner success.

What we offer

• Salary £35,000‑£45,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑16:00 onsite role.
