About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Training Officer / Assessor to support apprenticeship programmes across the Thames Valley. This field‑based position offers a flexible, off‑tools role helping learners achieve their qualifications.

Key responsibilities

Assess electrical apprentices in the workplace.
Conduct site visits, reviews and progress tracking.
Support learners throughout their qualification journey.
Collaborate with employers to ensure standards are met.
Provide occasional training delivery as required.

Required profile

Background as an electrician or electrical engineer.
Experience working on‑site within the electrical sector.
Open to assessors or electricians moving into a non‑hands‑on role.
Good communication and organisational abilities.
Full UK driving licence.
