Electrician – Days Based Role on University Campus

About the role

We are seeking a Level‑3 qualified Electrician to join a vibrant university campus team, delivering electrical maintenance across a variety of historic and modern buildings. The role is days‑based (36 hours per week) and offers opportunities for professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, both preventative and reactive, on campus facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in accordance with safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and campus policies.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support estate operations.
• Collaborate with the facilities management team to deliver reliable services.

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Strong understanding of compliance and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to join an on‑call schedule.
