Electrician & Fire & Security Trainer – Full Training Provided

About the role

Join a modern Construction Skills Centre as an Electrician & Fire & Security Trainer, delivering both practical and classroom‑based instruction to apprentices and adult learners. This full‑time position offers a clear pathway into teaching, with full teacher training and long‑term career development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Electrical Installation and Fire & Security programmes.
• Teach apprentices and adult learners in workshop and simulated industry environments.
• Conduct learner assessments, progress reviews and provide ongoing mentoring.
• Support curriculum development and maintain high standards of health and safety.

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• Strong industry experience in Electrical Installation, Building Services or a related sector.
• Knowledge or experience of fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Passion for developing others and a desire to move into teaching.
• Teaching qualification desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
