Electrician – Low Carbon Tech Installations

About the role

Join Octopus Energy Services as an Electrician focused on installing low‑carbon technologies in customers' homes across the North West of England. You will work with cutting‑edge renewable solutions such as EV charge points, air‑source heat pumps and solar panels, delivering a high‑quality, customer‑centric service.

Key responsibilities

• Install EV charge points, air‑source heat pumps or solar systems in residential properties.
• Collaborate with the wider Octopus Energy team to design and deliver the right solution for each customer.
• Apply your electrical expertise to complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service, representing the Octopus Energy brand on‑site.
• Continuously update your knowledge through training at the company’s R&D centre.

Required profile

• Proven track record of safety and customer excellence as a qualified electrician.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent, 18th Edition, Part P, and Inspection & Testing qualifications.
• Flexible working approach and prior customer‑service experience.
• Additional EV or solar qualifications are a plus.
