Electrician – Permanent Role in Eastleigh

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join a Property Services Team on a permanent basis in the Eastleigh area. The successful candidate will carry out safe electrical works across a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high‑quality repairs, installations and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, installations, servicing, and inspection & testing to BS7671 standards.
• Identify and rectify faults, rewire domestic systems and undertake full property rewires.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine material requirements and ensure correct installation.
• Provide electrical expertise for bathroom, kitchen and other property projects.
• Respond to out‑of‑hours emergency call‑outs as part of a rota.
• Maintain the company vehicle, completing regular safety checks and reporting defects.

Required profile

• City & Guilds 2391 and 2360 (Parts 1 & 2) or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Practical experience working to the current edition of BS7671.
• City & Guilds 2394/2395 (or equivalent) for verification and testing – desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check.
