Electrician – Permanent Role

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our client’s in‑house maintenance team. You will deliver high‑quality repairs, installations and refurbishments, ensuring homes remain safe and functional for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding on single‑phase and three‑phase installations, including shower and immersion element replacements.
• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), testing & inspection and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Preparing electrical installation certificates for minor works.
• Reporting urgent repairs or health & safety defects to the Qualifying Supervisor.
• Participating in out‑of‑hours emergency service and maintaining van stock and material records.

Required profile

• Hold C&G 2330 and C&G 2382 qualifications (essential); C&G 2391 desirable.
• Full driving licence and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Proactive health & safety mindset, including clean‑shaven requirement for mask fitting.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and make routine decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and vulnerable customers.
