Electrician – Residential Maintenance (Full‑time)

About the role

Raven Housing Trust is expanding its Property & Estate Services team and needs experienced electricians to help deliver safe, healthy homes across its portfolio. This full‑time, site‑based position works Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4:30 pm, covering properties from Croydon to Brighton.

Key responsibilities

• Perform safe, compliant electrical repairs and maintenance in occupied and empty residential properties.
• Diagnose faults accurately and carry out right‑first‑time repairs or replacements.
• Record all job data on‑site in real time using hand‑held IT systems.
• Participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota to resolve urgent faults.
• Maintain plant, tools and vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.

Required profile

• City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) and 18th Edition (2382) qualifications.
• Proven experience in residential electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Strong understanding of health and safety in tenanted homes.
• Full UK driving licence.
• PAT testing experience.
