Electrician – Responsive Maintenance (Permanent) – Leeds

About the role

We are working on behalf of a well‑established housing maintenance provider to recruit a qualified and motivated Electrician for their responsive maintenance team in Leeds. The role involves delivering high‑quality electrical repairs and installations across social housing properties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, fault‑finding and installations in occupied and void properties.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs and urgent maintenance requests.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical and health & safety regulations.
• Collaborate with tenants, housing officers and other trade operatives.

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing or domestic maintenance is desirable.
