Electro Mechanical Fitter

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, multiskilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join a leading manufacturing company that provides electrical solutions across various industries. The role involves fitting distribution and power units while maintaining high standards of workmanship and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Fit a variety of distribution and power units according to assembly instructions and blueprint specifications.
• Gather parts, sub‑assemblies, tools and materials required for each work order.
• Assemble components, verify correct fit, and fasten parts and sub‑assemblies.
• Maintain OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full) delivery to meet customer requirements.
• Complete all paperwork associated with the work order.
• Perform housekeeping, report problems, shortages or equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Use general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the fitting role.
• Conduct quality inspections of colleagues' output.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Apprentice‑trained or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication skills and strong health & safety awareness.
• Attention to detail.
