Electromechanical Field Engineer – UK & Overseas Travel

About the role

We are seeking an Electromechanical Field Engineer to join a global leader in vibration test systems. The role involves installing, maintaining, calibrating and consulting on industrial testing equipment for customers across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of vibration test systems.
• Evaluate equipment, recommend improvements and carry out preventative maintenance on‑site.
• Travel to customer sites in the UK and abroad, often on short notice, to install and repair testing equipment.
• Communicate customer requirements, timelines and project plans to internal teams.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and complete any additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2/BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• HNC in a relevant subject and knowledge of vibration testing is an advantage.
• Proven experience in industrial plant maintenance and electro‑mechanical engineering.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams, perform sub‑assembly fault finding and diagnose component‑level electronic faults.
• Valid passport and full driving licence.
