Electromechanical Fitter – Lancaster (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter to join a market‑leading engineering business in Lancaster. The role is workshop‑based and offers training on bespoke storage equipment, with regular overtime and clear progression pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and install hardware to steel fabrications, including wiring and terminating single‑ and three‑phase systems.
• Connect pumps, motors, control panels and lighting circuits.
• Carry out pressure tests, electrical continuity checks, fault finding and final inspections.
• Support the maintenance and hire of bespoke engineering storage equipment.

Required profile

• Background in mechanical or electrical fitting, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe bending or control panels.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training and develop both electrical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday on‑site in a workshop environment.
