About the role
We are seeking an Electronic Engineer to join a leading UK research facility in Bedford. The role focuses on instrumentation support, fine‑component hand soldering and electrical wiring, with full training provided to develop your skills in a highly technical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide instrumentation support across the facility following training.
- Perform hand soldering of fine electronic components and bespoke wiring tasks.
- Work on rotating shift patterns (7am‑3pm, 2pm‑10pm) with optional overtime.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on bespoke projects.
Required profile
- Electrical or electronic engineering background with an HND/HNC qualification.
- Demonstrated hand soldering experience.
- British passport and ability to pass security clearance.
