Electronic Rework Technician

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Electronic Rework Technician to join their Devizes team on a full‑time basis, Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm. The role starts as a three‑month temporary assignment with a strong prospect of becoming a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and clear pathways for technical progression.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and upgrade printed circuit cards using both surface‑mount and through‑hole technologies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic module failures, applying fault‑finding techniques.
• Assist with internal movement, shipping, and packaging of products ready for dispatch.
• Support continuous improvement by learning additional diagnostic and repair skills.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electronic re‑work, preferably with a personal hobby interest in electronics.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed repair procedures.
• Willingness to adapt to new fault‑finding and diagnostic methods.

Required skills

• Surface‑mount technology (SMT) handling.
• Through‑hole technology handling.
• Fault finding and electronic failure diagnosis.
• Basic circuit building and testing.
