Electronic Security Systems Engineer – CCTV & Access Control

About the role

As an Electronic Security Systems Engineer you will install, service and maintain a range of security solutions for customers across the South West. The role is field‑based, covering planned maintenance and reactive call‑outs, and requires a high standard of technical workmanship and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain intruder alarm systems
• Install and configure CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
• Carry out fault‑finding and system diagnostics
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
• Respond to reactive service call‑outs when required
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Provide excellent on‑site customer service

Required profile

• Proven experience in electronic security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control)
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently across multiple customer sites
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Relevant industry qualifications
