Electronics Engineer – Sheffield (Full‑time)

About the role

Amodo Design is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join its Sheffield team. You will work on cutting‑edge hardware projects that address AI safety, biosecurity, humane technology and scientific acceleration, seeing your designs manufactured and deployed globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and prototype electronic hardware and firmware for high‑impact projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary mechanical, software and firmware engineers.
• Conduct feasibility studies, literature reviews and market modelling for new technologies.
• Translate research findings into tangible products and policy‑relevant outcomes.
• Support multi‑million‑pound projects from concept through production.

Required profile

• Open to candidates from graduate level up to principal engineer.
• Strong motivation to work on safety‑enhancing technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑impact engineering environment.
