Electronics PCB Inspector – 4‑day week

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Electronics PCB Inspector to join a well‑established electronics manufacturer in Dorchester. The position offers a 39‑hour week spread over four days, providing an excellent work‑life balance while contributing to high‑quality printed circuit board production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual visual inspection of PCB assemblies.
• Conduct Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and review the results.
• Inspect products to IPC‑A‑610 Class 2 and Class 3 standards.
• Identify, record, and report defects and non‑conformances.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Complete all inspection documentation accurately.

Required profile

• Previous experience in PCB inspection within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of IPC‑A‑610 Class 2 and Class 3 standards.
• Experience using AOI equipment and interpreting inspection results.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
