Electronics Technician – Hands‑on Role in Innovative Products

About the role

We are seeking an Electronics Technician who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in high‑quality output, and thrives on diagnosing and solving technical problems. You will contribute to innovative products used across multiple industries worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Test and verify electronic products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Fault‑find and repair electronic assemblies down to the component level.
• Rework and repair failed units, including SMT soldering and component replacement.
• Build and assemble mechanical and electronic sub‑assemblies.
• Conduct optical inspections of products and components.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in electronics (apprenticeship background a plus).
• Previous experience as an Electronics Technician.
• Proven ability to read circuit diagrams and diagnose faults to component level.
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, team‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• SMT soldering and rework.
• Use of electronic test equipment.
• Optical inspection techniques.
• Assembly, testing and repair of electronic products.
• Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams.
• Experience with machine vision or camera systems (optional).
• Prototype builds and cable assembly (optional).
• PCB layout and ECAD tools such as Altium (optional).
• CAD software such as SolidWorks or Solid Edge (optional).
