Electronics Technician – Hands‑on Role

About the role

We are seeking an Electronics Technician who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in delivering high‑quality products, and thrives on diagnosing and solving technical challenges. You will join a friendly, skilled production team delivering innovative electronic solutions used worldwide across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Test and verify electronic products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Fault‑find and repair electronic assemblies down to component level.
• Rework and repair failed units, including SMT soldering.
• Build and assemble mechanical and electronic sub‑assemblies.
• Conduct optical inspections of products and components.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Curious, practical and collaborative mindset.
• Recognised qualification in Electronics (apprenticeship background is a plus).
• Previous experience as an Electronics Technician.
• Proven ability to assemble, test and repair electronic products.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• SMT soldering and rework.
• Use of electronic test equipment.
• Reading circuit diagrams and diagnosing faults to component level.
• Optical inspection techniques.
• Mechanical and electronic sub‑assembly construction.
• Experience with machine vision or camera systems (optional).
• PCB layout and ECAD tools such as Altium (optional).
• CAD software such as SolidWorks or Solid Edge (optional).
