Electronics Trainer – Full Training & IPC Certification

About the role

We are seeking an Electronics Trainer to join our specialist training centre in Witham. You will use your hands‑on electronics manufacturing background to deliver both practical and classroom‑based training, while gaining full professional development and industry‑recognised IPC certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions covering PCB assembly, soldering techniques, cable and wire harnessing, and inspection methods.
• Teach IPC standards and best engineering practices to engineers and technicians across multiple sectors.
• Develop and adapt training materials to suit a variety of industries, including aerospace, defence, medical devices and semiconductor technology.
• Assess trainee progress and provide feedback to ensure competency development.
• Maintain a safe and organised training environment in the purpose‑built facility.

Required profile

• Practical experience as an Electronics Technician, Production Technician, Test Technician or Electronics Engineer.
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes and, ideally, knowledge of IPC standards.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to share technical knowledge.
• Motivation to pursue a career change into training while staying within the electronics sector.
