Electronics/Test Engineer

About the role

Mploy Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local audio‑ancillary manufacturer in Poole. The company designs and builds microphones, cabling, and test equipment, and needs an Electronics/Test Engineer to ensure product quality and support prototype development.

Key responsibilities

• Test and inspect audio products against specifications.
• Diagnose and repair faults in wiring, components and printed circuit boards.
• Support prototype equipment and perform routine maintenance of factory test rigs.
• Develop, maintain and calibrate test schedules and procedures.

Required profile

• Level 3 Electrical/Electronics qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of electronic test practices and use of test equipment.
• Experience with electro‑static discharge (ESD) control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in Poole and able to work 37.5 hours per week.
