EL/PL Solicitor – Multi‑Track Claims Specialist

About the role

Keoghs LLP is looking for an experienced EL/PL Solicitor to join its Corporate Risk Team in Liverpool. You will manage a mixed caseload of multi‑track EL/PL claims, working closely with high‑profile corporate clients and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers.
• Manage a portfolio of multi‑track EL/PL claims valued between £25k‑£100k, from receipt through to resolution.
• Assess liability and quantum, devise settlement strategies, and identify evidence to support cases.
• Draft pleadings, defenses and witness statements.
• Attend court hearings, trials and settlement conferences, either in person or by telephone.
• Utilise Keoghs’ Case Management System to progress files efficiently.
• Meet targets for chargeable hours, work‑in‑progress and client‑matter information collection.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling EL/PL multi‑track claims.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident negotiator with the ability to produce concise reports.
• Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Case Management System proficiency.
