Emergency Care Practitioner Band 7

About the role

Join HCRG Care Group as an Emergency Care Practitioner Band 7 on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract supporting the Chippenham Hospital Minor Injury Unit. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering urgent care to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and advice for minor injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with nurses, paramedics and support staff to ensure seamless patient pathways.
• Work with partner organisations such as the Royal United Hospital Bath and other specialist units across the BSW region.
• Cover shifts from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, seven days a week, including occasional work across the wider BSW area.

Required profile

• Professional registration as a clinician (e.g., nursing, paramedic or equivalent).
• Advanced practice skills and experience in emergency or urgent care settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
