Employee Benefits Consultant

About the role

We are partnering with a respected Employee Benefits consultancy in London to hire an Employee Benefits Consultant or Associate Consultant. The role offers genuine flexibility and is ideal for an experienced consultant or an associate ready to step up, with full training and long‑term development support.

Key responsibilities

• Service and develop long‑term relationships with a portfolio of corporate Employee Benefits clients.
• Advise on Workplace Pensions, Group Risk, PMI, Cash Plans and broader Health & Wellbeing solutions.
• Deliver employee benefit and financial wellbeing presentations both in person and remotely.
• Support the development of the overall Employee Benefits proposition.
• Identify referral opportunities across wider financial services.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market developments and industry trends.
• Gradually take ownership of client relationships and profitability.

Required profile

• Experience in an Employee Benefits, Group Risk or Health & Wellbeing role.
• Strong technical knowledge of at least part of the Employee Benefits landscape.
• Confidence communicating with corporate clients and individual employees.
• Ability to explain complex information in clear, plain English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Consultative, client‑focused approach with good organisation and attention to detail.
• Openness to using technology and AI to improve processes.

Required skills

• Basic salary £55,000 – £70,000 per year (depending on experience).
