Employee Benefits Consultant

About the role

As an Employee Benefits Consultant you will deliver tailored pension and benefits solutions for a portfolio of corporate clients. The role combines client‑facing advisory work with data analysis and project delivery, supporting the growth of a global consultancy operating from over 700 locations.

Key responsibilities

• Service a portfolio of clients, handling renewals and ongoing administration.
• Collate, manipulate and analyse client data to support underwriting and claims processing.
• Identify medical underwriting requirements and manage the underwriting and claims workflow.
• Assist in defined‑contribution pension schemes and re‑broking of group risk and health insurance policies.
• Draft reports, attend client meetings and liaise with insurers.
• Gather market and product information to inform client recommendations.
• Undertake project work and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DC pensions or employee benefits consulting.
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach with a track record of delivering client‑focused solutions.
• APMI qualification or progress towards it is desirable but not essential.
