Employee Experience & Development Lead

About the role

GSK’s Barnard Castle site is seeking an Employee Experience & Development Lead to drive its culture transformation agenda. Working onsite five days a week, you will partner with the Site Leadership Team and a range of internal stakeholders to embed new behaviours, standards and ways of working that support sustainable performance and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Barnard Castle Culture & Accountability Framework, translating senior leadership ambition into a multi‑year roadmap.
• Define, embed and reinforce behavioural expectations aligned with GSK values, site priorities and leadership standards.
• Integrate culture initiatives into business priorities, governance routines, Tier meetings, and performance improvement plans.
• Coordinate, measure and challenge progress to ensure sustainable change and clear business impact.
• Act as an integrator, facilitator and constructive challenger across the site, ensuring culture activities are embedded rather than standalone.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading culture or employee engagement programmes in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and work collaboratively with HR, Learning & Development, internal communications and employee representatives.
• Excellent facilitation, analytical and change‑management skills.
