Employee Relations Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Manager. The role is primarily home‑based with occasional travel to London, overseeing a busy team of HR Advisors and providing strategic guidance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the HR Advisory Team.
• Manage and oversee complex, high‑risk employee relations cases.
• Provide expert advice on UK employment law and ensure compliance.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Deputise for the HR Director and contribute to wider people strategy.
• Support TUPE, organisational change and other key HR projects.
• Collaborate with Recruitment and HR Administration to deliver an integrated HR service.
• Produce HR reports, dashboards and workforce insights for decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement across HR advisory and ER processes.

Required profile

• Confident and experienced HR professional with extensive experience handling complex, high‑volume employee relations.
• CIPD Level 7 qualified.
• Strong background in senior HR advisory or management, with previous management experience.
• TUPE experience within the healthcare sector or another regulated environment.
• Proven expertise in UK employment law and complex ER matters.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £60,000‑£70,000 per year, dependent on experience.
