Employee Relations Manager – UK & Ireland

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead proactive and reactive employee relations initiatives across the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will partner with senior leaders and People Experience & Technology (PXT) teams to ensure a fair, respectful workplace that aligns with Amazon’s core values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain positive employee relations programs and best practices.
• Facilitate employee listening sessions, focus groups, and design training programs.
• Analyze large quantitative and qualitative data sets to identify root causes and drive innovative solutions.
• Create executive‑level messaging, reports, and presentations for business leaders.
• Proactively manage projects that improve employee experience and engagement.
• Respond to critical, high‑sensitivity employee relations issues with limited timeframes.
• Travel up to 30% of the time across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally Europe.

Required profile

• Significant experience in employee relations with deep subject‑matter expertise.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a broad spectrum of ER issues.
• Proven capability to work with large data sets and develop actionable insights.
• Experience delivering executive‑level presentations and reports.
• Comfort handling highly sensitive situations and de‑escalating conflicts.
