Employee Relations Partner – UK

About the role

The Employee Relations Partner will join the UK Employee Relations team, collaborating with line managers, people partners, trade unions and employee representatives to shape and deliver the ER strategy across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the UK Employee Relations plan in partnership with business leadership, people teams and trade union representatives.
• Align workplace practices with company, employee, business and legislative requirements to maximise performance and productivity.
• Provide pragmatic workplace solutions that support standardisation, inclusive culture and improved working arrangements.
• Work with trade union representatives to support change initiatives and advise on collective engagement activities.
• Liaise with legal representatives to minimise risk and ensure statutory compliance.
• Advise on statutory consultation relationships that promote good employee relations and legal compliance.
• Partner with people teams across the Bristol site to understand their needs and provide tailored ER support.

Required profile

• Strong experience on the front line of trade‑union relations and a proven track record of driving change in unionised environments.
• Excellent relationship‑building, consultative and advisory skills with awareness of general HR issues.
• Credibility and influencing ability across all organisational levels.
• Broad change‑management expertise and ability to apply project‑management principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within regional and UK teams.
