Employer Engagement Consultant (Apprenticeships)

About the role

Join KM Education Recruitment as an Employer Engagement Consultant focused on apprenticeships. You will work flexibly from home and in the field, building relationships with businesses across Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire to drive apprenticeship uptake.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage employers to promote apprenticeship programmes.
• Develop and maintain strong employer relationships to maximise learner starts.
• Manage daily activity using internal CRM systems and report sales data.
• Conduct organisational needs analyses to match employer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with policy and funding changes affecting apprenticeships.

Required profile

• Experience in employer engagement or business development, preferably within apprenticeships or employability programmes.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales or recruitment targets.
• Excellent communication, administrative and organisational abilities.
• Confident, friendly, professional demeanor with a willingness to learn.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel across the designated region.

What we offer

• Salary between £27,000 and £29,000 per year.
