Employer Engagement Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Employer Engagement Consultant to join Reed Further Education in Manchester. The role focuses on building strong relationships with employers, identifying recruitment opportunities and supporting individuals into sustainable employment across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Generate employer leads through direct sales, digital outreach, networking events and meetings.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of vacancies by understanding employer recruitment and workforce development needs.
• Analyse labour market trends to identify growth sectors and employment opportunities.
• Collaborate with training providers and internal teams to create pre‑employment training aligned to employer requirements.
• Manage employer accounts, advertise vacancies and promote opportunities to suitable candidates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, recruitment or employer engagement.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision‑makers.
• Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills.
• Experience working towards targets and KPIs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
