About the role
The Employer Funding and Risk Lead will steer complex employer funding and risk initiatives for a major pension fund. This permanent position requires expert guidance on actuarial matters, covenant assessments and long‑term sustainability, ensuring employers navigate an increasingly intricate regulatory and financial landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Lead on employer funding strategy, risk analysis and actuarial advice.
- Oversee employer admissions, mergers, reorganisations, cessations and TUPE‑related pension activity.
- Monitor employer compliance and performance, supporting valuation processes.
- Shape funding and risk policies in collaboration with actuaries and senior stakeholders.
- Provide evidence‑based solutions to protect member benefits and enhance fund resilience.
Required profile
- Strong analytical capability with confidence to influence senior decision‑makers.
- Extensive experience in employer funding, risk management and pension regulations.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
