Employers Agent – Residential & Affordable Housing

About the role

Join a respected property and construction consultancy in Cambridge as an Employers Agent. You will act as a trusted advisor on a varied portfolio of affordable housing, regeneration and private residential projects, guiding developments from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Administer JCT Design & Build contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Chair project meetings and coordinate communication between developers, housing associations, consultants and contractors.
• Monitor programme, quality, risk and contractual compliance.
• Review contractor submissions, payment applications and project documentation.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to clients.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Proven experience delivering Employers Agent services within a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• MRICS, MCIOB or working towards chartership is desirable.
