Employment Adviser – Support Job Seekers

About the role

The Employment Adviser will work directly with participants to help them overcome barriers to work and achieve realistic employment goals. You will act as a trusted coach and mentor, guiding individuals through their job‑search journey and building strong, positive relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants, supporting them from initial contact to sustainable employment.
• Provide one‑to‑one advice, coaching and motivation to help participants set and reach job targets.
• Identify and address individual barriers, linking participants to relevant services and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes in line with organisational standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach to participant support.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Target‑driven mindset and ability to work independently under pressure.
• High level of initiative, problem‑solving skills and resilience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
