Employment Advisor

About the role

The Employment Advisor will work with unemployed participants in the Wirral area, helping them secure sustainable employment. You will provide personalised guidance, develop action plans and connect candidates with local employers.

Key responsibilities

• Engage, motivate and support a caseload of unemployed participants.
• Provide benefits, welfare and health‑related advice as needed.
• Develop and monitor individual action plans to identify skills, aspirations and goals.
• Deliver employability support including CV writing, job searching, interview techniques and matching to suitable vacancies.
• Proactively build relationships with local employers to source vacancies and promote candidates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Employment Advisor or Employer Engagement role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to work towards KPIs.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel within the region.

Required skills

• IT literacy (basic computer skills).
