Employment Law Advocate

About the role
Our client, a market leader, is seeking an experienced Employment Law Advocate to join their UK Legal Team. The role combines remote work with field‑based representation of clients in Employment Tribunal matters across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Review and manage claims brought against clients in Employment Tribunals, coordinating with Litigation Executives.
- Approve drafted pleadings, conduct disclosure exercises and compile document bundles.
- Represent clients at tribunals, hearings and contested cases, presenting legal arguments.
- Prepare cases, write up and run trials in court.
- Provide clear assessments of client cases, identify and manage risks, including cost implications.
Required profile
- Proven advocacy experience, ideally within employment law.
- Experience representing parties in employment tribunal cases.
- Professional legal qualification preferred but not essential.
- Full, valid driving licence and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and maintain high professional standards.
