About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Lawyer in Greater Manchester to join a large not‑for‑profit organisation supporting members across a broad range of employment matters. You will handle a varied caseload that includes unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, making a tangible impact on employees' rights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of employment law claims, including unfair dismissal and discrimination.
• Provide legal advice and representation to union members.
• Prepare cases for tribunals and support litigation strategy.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to progress cases efficiently.
• Deliver clear, practical guidance on employment law issues.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 2+ years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
• Proven experience handling tribunal claims, especially unfair dismissal and discrimination.
• Strong client‑facing advisory skills with excellent communication.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Passionate about employee rights and advocacy.
• Based near Salford to attend court and office.
