Employment Solicitor – Hybrid (Nottingham/Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our growing employment law team at Richard Nelson LLP. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from our Nottingham office or remotely, and focuses on representing employees in a variety of workplace disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employment matters from inception to conclusion.
• Draft legal documents, policies, settlement agreements and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and provide commercially sound advice.
• Represent clients in disputes, grievances, tribunals and advisory hearings.
• Maintain high professional standards and cost‑effective work practices.
• Utilise time‑recording systems and IT tools efficiently.
• Contribute to business development and the firm’s reputation.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with solid experience in employment law, particularly claimant matters.
• Proven ability to handle complex cases for professionals in regulated sectors.
• Strong client‑focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and firm values.
