Employment Solicitor

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is expanding its Employment team in Edinburgh. The successful solicitor will join a collaborative practice that advises employer clients across a broad range of sectors on both contentious and non‑contentious matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day employment advice to employer clients.
• Manage Employment Tribunal litigation and represent clients in hearings.
• Lead redundancy, restructuring, TUPE and business transfer projects.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and other documentation.
• Support corporate transactions from an employment law perspective.
• Deliver client training sessions and seminars where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in Scots or English law.
• Minimum two years’ experience in employment law.
• Commercially minded with strong technical ability.
• Excellent communicator with strong drafting skills.
• Ability to manage own workload while working collaboratively.
• Interest in business development and practice growth.
