About the role

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its growing employment law team in Leeds. The role offers a balanced mix of contentious and non‑contentious work across a variety of sectors, providing a solid platform for professional development and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employment and industrial relations matters after a structured induction period.
• Advise and represent clients through all stages of litigation, including settlement agreements.
• Support and progress group litigation matters.
• Draft articles and marketing content for online and offline channels.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Participate in networking, community and charitable initiatives as desired.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience managing an independent caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent client care and interpersonal skills.
• Sound technical knowledge of employment law with a willingness to develop further.
• Effective organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to work.
