Employment Solicitor – Suffolk (Hybrid)

About the role

The Legists is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its growing employment team in Suffolk. This hybrid position offers the chance to work on a varied caseload of both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters for a diverse commercial client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of employment issues, including contracts, disciplinary procedures, dismissals and discrimination claims.
• Manage and defend contentious employment disputes in tribunals and courts.
• Draft and review employment policies, handbooks and contractual documentation.
• Support senior partners with complex cases and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law developments and ensure compliance for clients.

Required profile

• 3‑8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) handling both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
• Background in a reputable regional or London‑based law firm.
• Proven ability to advise clients across multiple sectors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a client‑focused approach.
