The Employment Tax Associate Director will provide expert guidance on employment tax matters for a leading professional services firm. Based in Bristol, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver compliant, strategic tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on employment tax issues to clients in the professional services sector.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment tax legislation and regulations.
• Manage complex client projects and deliver tailored tax solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify tax planning and optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, advisory reports, and compliance filings.
• Support clients during HMRC audits and inquiries, offering expert representation.
• Deliver presentations and training sessions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong background in employment tax within accounting or finance.
• Expert knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex client projects and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
