Employment Tax Partner – Leeds

About the role

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced employment tax specialist to join a leading professional services firm in Leeds. You will advise a broad range of clients on complex employment tax matters and help shape the future of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead employment tax advisory and compliance engagements for corporate and private clients.
• Provide advice on PAYE, National Insurance, employment status, off‑payroll (IR35) and reward‑in‑kind arrangements.
• Support clients during HMRC enquiries and risk reviews.
• Drive business development and identify growth opportunities.
• Build and nurture strong client and intermediary relationships.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing employment tax team.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues across tax and advisory disciplines.

Required profile

• Significant employment tax experience within a professional services environment.
• Proven ability to win, retain and develop client relationships.
• Strong technical expertise in UK employment tax matters.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and team development track record.
• Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.
• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Existing network in Yorkshire, the North or wider UK is advantageous.
