Employment Tax Senior Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Tax Senior Associate to join our Employer Solutions team in London. The role involves delivering advisory projects on a range of employment tax matters and supporting clients with compliance and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advisory projects covering PAYE/NIC, benefits, expenses, termination payments, cost‑reduction and reward strategies, IR35, umbrella arrangements, CIS, NMW and payroll governance.
• Assist with PSA submissions, P11D reviews, employer compliance checks and year‑end processes.
• Prepare and review advisory notes, calculations, technical reports and correspondence with HMRC.
• Support business development activities and contribute to proposal preparation.
• Review work produced by junior team members, providing coaching and feedback.

Required profile

• Part‑ or fully‑qualified ATT or CTA.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment tax legislation and practical experience.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Expertise in PAYE and National Insurance Contributions.
• Understanding of IR35, umbrella structures and CIS.
• Experience with P11D preparation and employer compliance checks.
