End User Computing Support Specialist – Trading Floor

About the role

We are looking for an End User Computing Support Specialist to join the Global Investment Bank’s Information Systems team on the London trading floor. The role focuses on supporting EUC and market‑data platforms and will be key to maintaining a reliable technology environment for Dealing Room users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for EUC and market‑data platforms, including IPC Turrets hardware.
• Participate in EUC projects and initiatives that affect the Dealing Room user base.
• Analyse and diagnose service incidents and performance issues.
• Manage service requests such as equipment moves, BCP tests and power‑down procedures.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployments and system configuration.
• Leverage AI tools to improve support efficiency and reduce incident resolution times.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT desktop support, preferably on a trading floor.
• Strong knowledge of EUC technologies and market‑data platforms.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise staff at all levels.
• Availability for 24/7 on‑call support and occasional weekend coverage during projects.
