Enforcement Agent – Southern Counties

About the role

The Enforcement Agent role covers a designated area in the Southern Counties, visiting homes and businesses to recover debts on behalf of clients. You will negotiate payments, manage arrangements and, when necessary, take control of goods in line with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses to discuss outstanding debts.
• Negotiate payment plans, take payments and complete income questionnaires.
• Secure goods when other options have been exhausted, following legal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Identify vulnerable customers and refer them to appropriate support pathways.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Confidence handling difficult and sensitive conversations.
• Calm, firm and fair approach with a target‑driven mindset.
• Good time‑management and self‑organisation.
• Full UK manual driving licence, no CCJs or criminal record.
