Engagement and Support Project Worker

About the role

The Engagement and Support Project Worker will join Centre 33’s ‘Someone to Talk to’ service, delivering practical and emotional support to young people aged up to 25 across our Open Access Hubs. Working primarily from Peterborough, Wisbech or Huntingdon, the role involves hub‑based activity and occasional cross‑county travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic, face‑to‑face support to young people during core opening hours (10 am‑6 pm) and occasional Saturdays.
• Collaborate with fellow Support Workers and Team Leads to ensure safe, responsive, and high‑quality service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local organisations, statutory agencies, and other partners to create effective support pathways.
• Manage a complex caseload, conduct risk assessments, and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service in line with Centre 33’s values.

Required profile

• Motivated professional with proven experience in youth work or a similar role.
• Experience handling a complex caseload and conducting risk assessments is desirable.
• Commitment to working within hub‑based settings and willingness to travel between sites.
• Alignment with values of being young‑people led, collaborative, inclusive, and excellence‑focused.
