Engineering Apprenticeship Trainer – Manchester

About the role

Jet2.com is seeking an experienced Engineering Apprenticeship Trainer to join its Manchester Hangar. You will lead the delivery of the company’s award‑winning Engineering Apprenticeship programme, helping apprentices achieve their City & Guilds qualifications and develop the skills needed for a career in aviation engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, instruct and assess apprentices throughout the apprenticeship pathway.
• Design and produce course materials and deliver classroom‑based instruction.
• Maintain quality and consistency across all learning activities.
• Support the Engineering Apprenticeship Supervisor in programme delivery and administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering approved apprenticeship qualification programmes.
• Recognised educator or instructor qualification (preferred).
• Qualifications such as D32, A1 or TAQA (preferred) and experience teaching Part 66 licence modules (CAT A minimum).
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities.
• Understanding of EASA Part 147/145/Part M and City & Guilds training environments.
• Holding a Part 66 licence is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
