Engineering Claims Adjuster

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Claims Adjuster to join a leading Lloyd’s market insurer. You will manage engineering‑related insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement, working with a global portfolio of exposures.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively adjust engineering claims to resolution while maintaining appropriate financial provisions.
• Develop collaborative relationships with underwriters, actuaries and other internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight of TPAs and service providers through meetings, peer reviews and file reviews.
• Instruct and coordinate panel lawyers, external adjusters and experts to achieve optimal outcomes, control costs and minimise leakage.

Required profile

• Experienced Claims Handler with a strong background in engineering claims adjusting.
• Solid understanding of policy coverage, claims negotiation and strategic claim handling.
• Ability to interpret legal, regulatory and territorial issues.
• High analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Knowledge of the Lloyd’s market is preferred.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, accountability and a positive, confident attitude.
